Milne feels a strong need to return to the UK to avenge Malik’s death. They weren’t many in number, and they never interfered with the work I did as a detective in London’s Metropolitan Police, so I never thought that I was doing much wrong. Leaving didn’t seem plausible. Our maverick ex-cop, Dennis, has relocated to the Phillipines.

This book is not the right one to put aside for long. Jan 09, Lukasz Pruski rated it did not like it. Jobs where I’ve had to end the lives of people who deserved it. It’s only after you’ve finished you realize that’s you’ve been supporting the wrong party all along.
The various connections in the book between characters and events were confusing and somewhat contrived.

Well worth a look at. It makes the story anything but predictable and is an interesting take on a thriller where the hero is also an antihero. In “Acknowledgements” to the book Mr. I am pathetic I know lol Anyway.
Anyone who enjoyed the first in the series will love this one too. A Good Day To Die is a terrific novel.

Kernick writes “See how this sells”. He’s had a few rounds of plastic surgery, so he’s not likely to kernjck apprehended as he enters the country. I’ve done jobs before I must be honest and admit I couldn’t get into this book.
