Honestly, I wanted more novels after the 6th one. It was an original idea that kept me guessing and I liked the way it played out. Jason was a likeable main character because he seemed like a decent guy, but there was nothing really unique about him.

Internal back and forth and back and forth – oh god she’s so beautiful but I shouldn’t want to kiss her because she’s Brad’s chick but I want her but I can’t but I can’t help myself but Blooddlust have to. Determined to enjoy his almost postcard-perfect new life, Jason tries hard to ignore the many strange things going down in DeVere Heights.

I will be reading the next hloodlust to see where the author will take the story now with what Jason has learned at the end and to see if anything happens with Sienna. To me, the sexual content excessive partying is too mature for middle school, so I have moved it to the high school.

Basically the series is told from the POV of Jason. My Twihard days have been long over. During both parts Jason is still attracted to Sienna and we get small instances of romance between them but what’s going on between them is still up in the air and has Jason completely at a loss.
Add in the bratty sister and the overly concerned parents and you’re good to ride the cliche mobile down the trope highway. When a dead body washes ashore on the beach with bite marks, it becomes evident that there is a vampire murderer.
