It’s really a bodice ripper set in the modern day within a broader context of a galactic civilization instead of in a historical setting. There are some really interesting new aliens introducted as fajily. Same basic characteristics cold, smooshy, sugar coma approved but lots of awesome differences chocolate, strawberry, pecan praline.

They purr when they are happy though, and I pretty much melted and snuggled with my kitties during those scenes. The ending is interesting as well, and it appears Kitty’s future as part of the CD is up in the air since you know Jeff will not allow her to jump into fights now.
Koch has created a complex world of characters deep with history and backgrounds, and not reading the two previous books will diminish your overall experience of Alien in the Family. Kitty’s descent into Mary Sue territory and how she jerked around Jeff by continually prodding his jealousy button also bothered me she comments at one point that she likes that he has potential stalker tendencies, but even though they’re engaged, her wishy-washy commitment to him seemed kind of cruel?

ACE is an alien entity created to monitor the PPB force field surrounding earth and preventing its inhabitants from venturing too far out into space. I had to not a sacrifice in any way read all the books 3 times to figure out which was my favorite.
Half of the team makes a very overt attempt to gang rape her, but the other half of the team plus an alien pet Kitty picks up early in the book puts a stop to it. Then it slows down to showing every last bit of action and thought in suffocating detail.
Chuckie and Jeff are left speechless and mumbling like idiots.

With that being said, this book can still be read as a standalone and enjoyed immensely. My probl This is a solid four. Then, when Kitty and Jeff’s families both “coincidentally” show up in Las Vegas at the same time they’re there, Kitty knows something’s up Kitty loves being engaged to Martini, her super-sexy alien fiancee from Aien Centaurion.
This series just wouldn’t be the same, at this point, without Reader. I adore Kitty and her men and I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us! Did the publisher want a bigger book?
