The Tales of Ambia 4 books. As I touched on already, few books have made me laugh harder, louder, and more often than Burndee’s adventures, and their latest ambis is by no means an exception. D Burndee started to learn how to ambua his temper better in this book which is probably a good thing for him. It’s redresh fun–for everyone except our dear protagonist.

As a sequel to The Reluctant Godfather, it follows the continuing adventures of Fairy Godfather Burndee, which made me super excited because I love that young, grouchy, cake-baking fairy godfather! Unusual, and most refreshing.

My sister and I read bits of this out loud to each other and just cackled over it. Grand sticky messes are created. My only complaint was I’d hoped for at least a little more of Ella, but Burndee and Colin were a ton of fun. I was not required to write a positive review; all opinions are my own.
This book is incredibly well-written, and every sentence pulses with crisp and energetic wordcraft, Our favorite grouchy young fairy godfather, Burndee, and his mischievous ward, Prince Colin, are at it again in the refres sequel to The Reluctant Godfatherand their newest shenanigans are not to be missed.
A few battles, but no gore or blood The Reluctant Godfather was witty, hilarious, and meaningful for all its light-heartedness, and so is A Royal Masquerade. His character change is wmbia beginning, even though he’s come so far since the beginning of his first book.

It’s awesome to watch his new struggles and growth, since his character arc and character development are so fabulously executed each time–though it’s agonizing at times as well as joyful. I knew nothing about the Goose Girl fairytale before reading this, so I can’t speak for that, but I enjoyed all the new characters! So if you want something short, clean, and hysterical for a rainy afternoon, this is the book for you!
