I lost a lot of clinb for Krakauer after reading the climb.

However, the accounts of others on the climb that very day and interviews of other team members throw a different picture, that of a helpful Boukareev who not only risked his life but also saw that he aids people in completing the climb. Each group contained world class climbers and relative novices, some of whom had paid tens of thousands of pounds for the climb. Anatoli Boukreev was one of the world’s foremost high-altitude mountaineers. A lot of people died and there was a lot of controversy surrounding some of the statements made in Krakauer’s book and statements boukrrev by others about the actions of guides on the mtn and aatoli way events unfurled. After reading both “Into Thin Air” and “The Climb”, I can say that both Krakauer and Boukreev were severely, devastatingly traumatized by the events of those terrible 2 days–they were victims as much as those who died.
The mountain currently is loaded with trash, the mountain villages in Nepal are struggling to survive under the weight of resource sucking western amenities to satisfy the tastes of western privilege.
This one is about the same events of May 10 and 11,the most lethal year on Chomolungma Mount Everest depicted in the book “Into Thin Air”, the movie “Everest” and “Left For Dead” all of which have merit.
It’s a case of he-said he-said. I tthe that it is a bit of Everest overload but it is such a fascinating topic.

The adventuresome and the well-to-do took notice. Contrast this with Krakauer’s Into Thin Air: Designed to be projected in theaters outfitted with wraparound screens and state-of-the-art sound systems, the film would offer virtual, armchair Everest.
Was it because anatolli was improperly dressed and climbing without supplemental oxygen? BUT, how could anyone forget!?? We’ll build a pyramid of camps, each stocked from the one below.
