I don’t like the fact that Michael Scott decided to only release this and the Joan of Ark story as E-Versions when I prefer to have a hard copy of my books, but the story itself was very good.

A fantastic quick read! Scott treats us to another side-story from his Flamel series of books. Out of the Ashes. Billy the Kid is immortal. He’s an anti-hero, he works for the Dark Elders but readers get the sense that he has a moral compass and values that steer him his actions.
Except now Miss Peregrine, Emma, and their peculiar friends are with him, and doing their best to blend in. She is one of the best characters in the series.

Billy decides to tag along, out of chivalry and stubbornness despite the high probability of death. Ratings and Reviews 3 54 star ratings 3 reviews. The only in-universe disappointment was that, apparently it really wasn’t worth it at all, cuz this dude, while might have been noble when he was “alive,” he was definitely a self-absorbing PIG after becoming an immortal.
This is far superior–and longer–than the “Joan of Arc” story. I feel like rereading this series now! I Am Number Four: And you will be running out to pick up the series so you can find just how these events are connected.
