Well, I’m no expert on electronics. Check for proper voltages at the inverter. I knew the incorrect voltage caps were not a good idea, but I figured it was mostly for the reason that they would burn out very quickly as opposed to not working at all.
I’m going to check it out and see if its tests good. I did the whole power on and check with a flash light. I see the image so something is working right. Before doing any work neither the lcd or the backlight was working. I am unable to find a data sheet on the controller; if a data sheet could be located it should be very easy. Any idea where else to look? Check to see if it’s open. I will check again for the fuse, I tried ddatasheet look bit3195v that area but could not see the code f, however that section had a lot of glue on it, so I’ll look closer.

I think I found the fuse under a glob of rubber stuff. What else to check? You can see picture but still no backlight. Originally Posted by gypsy Post That fixed it!

Maybe, but measure the resistance of the secondaries of both of the Inverter transformers, they should be very very similar measurements. The backlights come on and the screen is white. If I disconnect the video cable to the monitor I gain control of the buttons.
Well bright side is I am still mentally challanged. Problem is that backlights arent working at all. Any help would be appreciated and I will get some pictures of the boards.
I have done some datasheeh and I am in a cross roads as to what I should do next.
