I’m 14 and read this when I was 13 This doesn’t help anyone. I could not stop reading. Even his name made me cringe. Common Sense Media’s unbiased ratings are created by expert reviewers and aren’t influenced by the product’s creators or by any of our funders, affiliates, or partners.

When they get close to where they need to be, Shay leaves his tank behind to get the hilt. She seems sweet and real. Since the guardians there are panthers, they decide to enter the cavern from below in the water.

She gave him false bloodross to get him to go back with her, but he never questioned her once they got back to the Academy. I feel like his death was pointless and his dad not his read dad, but Emile the one he believed was his dad broke his neck. Emile dying blpodrose extremely painful and drawn-out death, preferably by Ren’s hand.

Early on in the book, Calla seriously grated my nerves. So, fuck off Shay.

Those who love Calla may have far fewer issues with the plot and character development, but those who don’t will have a hard time appreciating this final installment — and the trilogy in general. I loved the first 2 books. He doesn’t bug me so much anymore. View all 7 comments. Calla is a strong female alpha and all, but when it comes to relationships I think she fails and is a bit weak.

Not only did I love their interaction with each other, but also with the Searchers. I was still drawn to him–the one who was so obviously my counterpart.

Calla and her wolf pack must help Shay and the Seekers destroy the Keepers’ evil hold on their world. The scene where she allowed the Wraith to take her instead of Adne? I mean, what kind of idiotic reason is that? Lists with This Book.

After it was over they all paid their respects and said goodbye. I may add a few things later. I am so mad at how much money I spent on this book!!! This book would have been a 5 star for me but it went all wrong. I knew back on page that I should have stopped reading, because Calla made her choice, as if I didn’t already know it was coming, but I knew Ren was done after that. He’s a bratty little boy. For most of the book, the plot was very, very good.

Shay is an awful character and I’m sorry if his imma Let’s do a little pre-reviewing. Andrea Cremer is a gifted and talented writer. The two male alpha werewolves are openly jealous of each other. What the heck, she kept pushing him away throughout the whole book, every time he touched her she would move away or look at Shay worried about his reaction.

Bloodrose (Nightshade #3; Nightshade World #6) by Andrea Cremer

I milked this book for a week before I finally ripped off the Band-Aid and finished it up! I love Ren he’s completely damaged after Calla left him and he let her go off with Shay because he couldn’t stand seeing her unhappy, everyone could see he truly loved bloodrpse.

If Calla doesn’t want you, I’ll take you! I love this book. All my stars are for REN! Why God, why did it have to be this way. Come to think of it, no wonder I dislike Shay so much. And because it is virtually impossible to discuss Bloodrose without spoiling it, I’ll try my best to convey my feelings through GIFs alone. Never would have saw this shit coming but I should known since my girl Miss Vain gave it a 1!

He agrees, but the searchers are still unsure if they can trust him. Congratulations Anddea CremerI’m eating major crow!

But Connor is freaking hilarious! Calla wakes up in her room to her mother asking about her trip. I was ready for it! What didn’t make sense, is that they all had to return to their natural states, but Shay became a wolf which was NOT his natural state. Sign in or join to save for later.

Bloodrose: Nightshade, Book 3

Parent of a 7, 9, and 14 year old Written by panamamama January 23, Oh, I know Cremer had to have Calla choose in the end, but was it necessary for her to kill of the main highlight in the entire series? He has closed the Rift, but it still needs to be sealed. Oh god, even I felt so sad when Silas the scriber, remember him?

Thanks for breaking my heart and stomping on the pieces, Cremer.
