It really made me think on how we are all connected and intertwined. Amanda Walker is not a witch — yet. The store is odd and twisted. I really liked Mother Star of the Sea. And some people are witches. The characters and plot were okay, but they just could not struggle through the mounds of prose that were heaped all about. The author has a genuine love and concern for the Craft that excuses a great deal in the way of excess in other areas. Strieber alone wrote this book. The best character I loved in this story is Tom, the black cat.
