keneallu This is all because Jordan is a girl. So while a girl may be able to compete with some guys, in the end guys are bigger, have more muscle mass and therefore more strength.
They never pick the best friend!!! It was great to see her surrounded by a supporting family even if dad took his time to do it.
The reviews were looking positive, my book club was enjoying this, and I was getting the whole D. But they fight in the novel and she finds comfort in Ty. It’s almost Christmas and Jordan knows exactly what she wants to get for Henry. We’ve all heard the fiction of her being in delicate health. Her dad is a football hero. Which is totally fine with me, as a reader. Let us start with the positives, shall we? Do you know how many high school kids may be hometown or even statewide heroes and have to make the heartbreaking decision between accepting a scholarship to a Ctching I-A school and probably not getting field time because of the talent and the competition Sure, things would get a little overly testosterone-y, but it’s kind of sweet if you think about it.

Would you like to tell us about a lower price? As a girl, she suffers with some quite sexist comments and ideals, and strives to work as hard as she can, to be the best that she can be. They are her protectors and best friends. Sure, when hot Ty comes around she wants to be a little more girly, and even makes a couple girl friends, but at the end of the day she was still pretty boyish.
And yes, they’re good. As much as I loved the great plot line and sweet romance, what I liked the most about this book was the in-depth characters and the way they interacted with each other. I have nothing against him, but view spoiler [I am glad Jordan woke up and decided he wasn’t the man for her. P At any rate She was one of the best female protagonists I’ve seen in YA contemporaries for quite some time. And I think the story works for me because of their friendship, the history they share, the anecdotes, the banter and silly games.
As a result, her best friends are all guys, they appreciate her, and watch her back in miransa way. He was her best friend and he supported and loved her for who she was, and mifanda friendship was so strong.
