Jun 27, Lisa rated it liked it. What I always enjoy about Macomber’s books is that she makes you believe that people tend to be good at heart, and that life doesn’t have to be overly complicated, if you just stick to what is important.

Now, to go find the first two so I can really know more of their stories. What a beautifully written end to this trilogy. The drawing of the characters by virtue of their interactions and interests are what I found most appealing. This one has a wonderful bunch of characters in another small town, all interconnected and all going through their own issues.

They had to mature and deal with the consequences of their histories. Feb 25, Catherine Flusche rated daiota really liked it. You read a bit about two or three characters, then stop, and read about two or three others, then stop, and so on.
I loved every page of mackmber series. They aren’t overly serious or thought-provoking, but they provide a nice dose of escapism when you are in need.
