Gregor “the dream snatcher” has been invading Cat’s dreams the guy treats bedtime with the same sort of creepy glee as Edward Cullen and is claiming that Cat is actually his wife rather than Bones wife and that Mencheries wiped the whole experience from Cat’s memory.
The ending was good. Also, the fact that these events centered around another vampire who just happened to have a previous husband claim which conveniently led to tension between Cat and Bones Good book if ur into supernatural … Show more Show less.

Cat saved her from a vampire. She’s having visions of a vampire named Gregor who’s more powerful than Bones and has ties to her past that even Cat herself didn’t know about.
I like discussing relationship problems about dextined much as I like discussing festering yeast infections. Although there was an apology, Cat never actually demanded one. In this series View all Book 5.
Some of Bones and Cat’s behaviour was infuriating and it felt like Frost had dipped into the well once too often with some of her story arcs. Are we supposed to overlook the fact that Cat is supposedly immune to vamp glamour? This is an action-packed romp with secrets revealed from the past and ends with a new twist on the future. With what he planned, they had to have some series regulars at play – mainly Slade and Vlad – and I found the two in the house and with different scenes to be fascinating. So begins the action packed and stress inducing adventure in finding out what really happened. Other books frrost the series. Try the Kindle edition and experience desttined great reading features: Of course it wouldn’t be a ‘Night Huntress’ book without the trademark quips, rude sayings, and laugh out loud dialogue between some of the characters.
One thing that did make me blue: One such instance is when a certain character says this:. The Witch with No Name.
Cat is worried that Gregor is going to try to kill Bones because vampire laws says it’s death to a vampire that sleeps with another vampire’s spouse. Oh, and Mencheres was awesome too. This book was definitely more angsty than the previous ones. Will their love be strong enough to endure this test, or will it crumble under the pressure?

Okay here it goes I think my biggest issue though is that the first three books still kept a sense of humor and fun even when things got tense and complicated. Sorry – but that’s not romantic – or enjoyable. Cat makes me laugh a lot, which is one of the things I love about this series. You feel sick and wish it would just stop. I also can’t wait to read more about Marie, the badass voodoo ghoul queen of New Orleans.
What also worked really well to balance out the depressing state of Cat and Bones’s relationship were the secondary characters. Gah, this book had me twisted up! View all 41 comments.

What if Cat regains her memories and wants to be with Gregor instead?
The plot is as amazing as always, and its Cat’s crazy ex that is in the way of their relationship. Aside from writing, Jeaniene enjoys reading, poetry, watching movies with her husband, exploring old cemeteries, spelunking and traveling — by car.
Vlad was the shining star of this story. Sounds like a marriage to me; just swap family, sex, and money problems and your spouse leaving his shoes in the living room and dirty clothes on the floor for the marital strain of a merciless dream snatching vampire, and there you have it. I can’t get enough of these two and I’m ready and willing to follow the fork in their path destined by the book’s ending. Gregor is a ‘dreamsnatcher’–capable of invading her dreams, and wants her to return to him. Cat is by far the best character in this series and it’s like Frost just wanted to make her a love sick puppy who throws out her better judgement.
