Now for one of my normal ‘old book warnings’. The men who rode the dragons were a breed apart. I didn’t enjoy Dragonquest and don’t recommend it. Lots of changes being put in motion. Groghe demands the dragonriders travel to the Red Star to destroy Thread; F’lar says he will launch an expedition if they desire it, and mccqffrey on to explain how long it would take and what supplies they would need, noting that this would leave Pern completely unprotected.
