I love post apoc even more if it’s set in the UK so this one was off to a great start before I’d even turned a page. When he meets another survivor he hopes to get the answers he needs.

Due to the light writing style I didn’t get invested in the characters or story enough to continue on with this series. In five minutes Sam learns two things: Sign In Don’t have an account? I envisioned the invasion happening similarly to how it occurred during the Independence Day movie. Honestly, it was probably a lot to take in but Stirling warned you!

Everyone, except Sam, who watches his sister and Mother walk out the door with the rest of the neighborhood. Plenty for the adrenalin junkies to enjoy then! There is just enough details given to create an amazing story, yet it isn’t scary or overly complicated.
Sure, there were lots of places to hide and initially there had been plentiful supplies everywhere, but the Walkers were stripping the city bare and it seemed like there were more and more Drones patrolling every night.
In the world of Sam Riley, there is danger everywhere: It was very interesting and I wish the rest of the book would have caught up. Which is a shame, ’cause I do love me some Fallen Skies and Luke to pieces and I know kids would love books just like this too.

It first dragged on in the beginning but the action continued at a steady Pace. Queen of Air and Darkness Cassandra Clare. Another area that could have been worked on was the names of the alien creatures. Earthfall is pretty damn good. If you’re looking for something with a bit more depth than a superficial eafthfall between good and evil or some unexpected plotting, then it probably isn’t the book for you. You could also look at Eafthfall Enemy by Charlie Higsonin which young survivors battle zombies rather than aliens.
The drones eatrhfall sooo like grievers in the maze right down to the poisonous sting. Can’t wait for the next book! Spotted by waledn flying drone, Sam escapes, but is slashed by a barbed tendril. He quietly made his way to the back of the storeroom and found the loading bay.
I mean I don’t feel as connected to all the other characters as I had with Sam in the beginning. When the truth came out, they find out the ‘true names’, and that was where things got confusing. Jay was brilliant too, with his snark and cheekiness and funniness — also, you just gotta love the Jay Plans!
Whenever he was in an earthffall scenario someone always seemed to wlden out of nowhere and save him.
