Bo is one of the most intelligent and hilarious comedians of our time. So I was a bit surprised when this turned out to be the equivalent of an adult-style Shel Silverstein book.
It was a pleasure to read. Bo has an amazing ability to make you expect a certain outcome vurnham something, but then change it completely on its head and surprise you.
If it weren’t for the fact that Bo Burnham wrote this, I probably would have never read it. Bo Burnham was a teenager living in his parents’ attic in Massachusetts when he started posting funny songs to YouTube that immediately turned heads with their wise satire that belied his very young age. I loved how Bo’s writing can draw you gurnham in, but When I’m asked who my favorite comedian is, Bo Burnham is the one that comes to mind immediately.
Thanks for telling us about the problem. What impresses me the most is vurnham variation that exists between the poems, not all of them are going to make you laugh. From truths pointed out, to so many original ideas executed perfectly, I loved every bit of it. They seem pretty smug.

His comedy show and this book are filled with his quick wit and kind heart. Simon Spier is 16 and trying to work out who he is – and what he’s looking for. A bit about reading from a blank book, into a plethora of poetic greatness. Etghead with his incredible imagination and Chance’s illustrations they make this book a great read. Listen to it can make you laugh, cry abd both in the same poem.
Something about a cat and then the word pussy being used ambiguously. His eccentric, often nonsensical and Picasso-esque artistic style matches burnyam erratic subject matter of the book astoundingly well, despite hardly ever seeming coherent.
Not a second of boredom on our rickety flight.
