The tribes are well-drawn with murder, revenge, kindness, heroism and even evil. There was a new murderer to find, plenty of action, and much to my surprise, the plot-lines and romances started in the first book concluded at the end of this book, leaving me to wonder what the connection in the last book will be.
Sue Harrison does a good job of creating strong characters and moving them well through a fairly complicated plot with plenty of twists, but believable characterization in the plot, and very believable motivation of the characters for their behaviors.
