Entanglement by Amir D. Aczel

I had some trouble following some of those experiments, however, but the ones I did understand were absolutely fascinating. Want to Read saving…. The concept of immediacy presents a problem in that it would appear that such a factor working on the second part of the particle would be travelling at some infinite speed greater than the speed amiir light if the distance warrants such an action.

This property is what makes quantum computers possible and interesting. The author also starts each chapter with a brief introduction to the life of each famous physicist whose contributions were accounted for in this boo This is an excellent account of the formulation and evolution of quantum mechanics over the span of years. Also, it seems to me to be common knowledge that Grete Hermann called Neumann out for false assumptions before anyone else had the guts, or cleverness, to, and yet, she gets no mention in this book.

Thanks for telling us about the problem.

My impression is that Mr. Aczel describes Quantum Entanglement as follows: Oct 01, Stan Paulsen rated it really liked it Shelves: This book is not yet featured on Listopia. That experiment receives a whole short chapter in Amir’s book. I expected to get a bit more of understanding of entanglement out of this book, but I ended up feeling more baffled than before.

Among these is a fairly detailed treatment of “triple entanglement”. The end result is that the book becomes confusing and, in many cases, misleading. I’m looking forward to reading My Search for Ramanujan: The two terms should not be confused even though they are closely related.

It will establish some familiarity with the topic and with the people entreelazamiento have historically been involved. Only in the last few pages does this book actually talk about the fact that entanglement has been proven as reality, and virtually no space is given to discussing what it might actually mean. I enjoyed his Fermat’s Last Theorem:
