I was very interested in finding out what was up with Magdalegna and Gideon, since he is one of the most powerful Demons, a healer like no other and having lived over a millennium.
I can’t believe the reviews gjdeon this book are not more positive, I really loved it. I see that she hasn’t lost anything from her selfish and spoiled being. The dialogue felt so forced an I did read the first in this series Jacoband felt it was a decent start to a new series.

First time ever I wasn’t happy about a past character coming back for recent book. You joke about it, but ther are reasons why you are not interested in finding a companion of your own.
He was at intially too distant, cold and arrogant but not in a sexy way and although he did warm up and let his emotions out eventually I was stuck firmly in the meh camp complete with big cheery fire and toasted marshmallows. I give this book a 3. Then he disappears for almost 9 years.

Good job Gideon and Legna! I thought Legna was a little weird around Gideon and couldn’t figure out why she was throwing fits everytime she saw him. I’m ashamed to say that I did think the vampires gidron behind Bella’s attack since he was the only one Gideon had told about the Druids.
All in all, though, it’s a good book. There was too much exposition and re-capping in the beginning, no matter how relevant some of it was, and this lost it a star it took nightwalmers two tries to read this. Ugh, I wish I hadn’t bothered.
