For older versions of grub4dos this command can only use a 14 colour xpixel image to use as a background image if you do not change the graphicsmode and leave it set to the default mode. Gfxmenu is not particularly grub4dks to configure and any major changes require the files to be compiled from source code, creating new themes is gruh4dos beyond the scope of this guide.
Forums are also a good source of information, in particular the cd forum and boot-land which has a Grub4dos subforum here. It is possible to replace the above text with a user defined entry specific gudie individual menu items. Perhaps it should form the basis of the official documentation. NOTE – all of the following examples are configuration file entries, however they can easily be amended to run from the command line interface. Note that the background colours for normal, heading, border and help text will be ignored as the background will always be set to transparent. Unfortunately there is currently a lack of documentation available for Grub4dos – a readme file is included in the grub4dos download package and a useful guide is available from sourceforge.
