A challenging book that was recommended to me by an acquaintance. Trivia About Grunch of Giants. And, by the way, inflation is not all caused by the greed of corporations, it’s also a product of printing money by the Fed and something called supply and demand. Liberally interspersed with neologisms and long strings of participle adjectives, it bears more than a passing resemblance to the writings of a schizophrenic. Infinitely complicated and simple; unyielding comprehensive, buckminstfr concise, all at once, “that” pours out of buckminster’s sentences. Weird book, read it because Robert Kiyosaki talks a lot about it.

Bucky was obviously an interesting person with great inventions, but his ideas on the economy are misguided in my opinion. Yet those corporations operate only with single purpose of profit irrelevantly whether their behavior is anti social as in environmental damage or enslavement of humans or destruction of the earth by the last nuclear war.
There was a problem adding your email address. I found myself skimming this book like gianfs other before, as I delved deeper into the confusion that was this book. The good news is, well, there is no good news, no charity, no goodness at all. I can’t say I agree with it all, but it’s worth a read. Buckminster Fuller has been gone for nearly 30 years and the planet and human survival cry out for minds like his.
Another later-career book of Fuller’s; this one capturing his portrayal of how corporations came to their powerful position in our socioeconomy.
