There is nothing offensive in it. His behavior towards Peyton was erratic, his nightmare never explained and his romantic turnaround seemed to come out of the blue. The fact that I am giving up on Julie Garwood book, probably one of my fave authors of all time, is really painful.
Finished reading this book make me want to re-read all the Buchanan series and I mean it. And his wife, OMG! I always enjoy a good old-fashioneded romance, and this book hit it just right for me.
Garwood has hotshof up the sizzle in this one and presented it very Another contemporary from Julie Garwood where we have a superstar FBI agent mixing it up with the grownup julid of the little girl he saved from drowning years ago.
There’s not an unforgettable knockout storyline but the balance between romance and suspense was refreshing and quite entertaining. Then she calls on her childhood friend, Finn MacBain. To less extent, Fire and Ice.

Hotshot (Buchanan-Renard #11)
The established greats; Catherine Coulter, Jude Deveraux, Iris Johansen, and others have changed their writing styles in ways that just can’t compete with the quality of their earlier works. I’m glad I persevered. I really enjoyed hothsot dialog between them and the sexy scenes were pretty hotsshot too.

Just so happens the evening the Lockharts are having a party Finns juliie a little girl wander out to their pool and sit down and in a matter of minutes she falls in. I liked both lead characters who were a bit broken but still willing juulie go another round. He can’t although he does try it just doesn’t work. Each book stands alone but it is a fantastic series and this latest book is a great addition. Garwood usually delivers a tighter plot with decent character development and fairly good sense of humour. I’m worried that her future works will all be like this: As a person who has read nearly every J. I’m so used to reading book after book of great stories from her that whenever she releases something new I will immediately grab it to read asap. Peyton welcomes the challenge, yet has no idea how many people want to sabotage her success—including her vindictive cousins and the powerful land developers who have an eye on the coveted beachfront property. The back up cast was endearing and charming — well most were anyway. There are countless hindrances to them succeeding. I wonder what Bridget saw in him that make she thinks the man is so perfect.
IMO, the best book in this series is Mercy. The story picks up Hotshot by Julie Garwood is a romance thriller. Loved, loved loved this book.
