It kills me to say this, because I hate to say anything bad about anyone, but it was the narration that killed this book for me. You know its there, they sort of unconsciously calm and ease each other worries. The first rule of being Alpha of the Canine Pack is to protect their secrets from the humans at all cost. There is explicit sex, swearing, dirty bedroom talk, and violence.
Sylvan is a Tranq Kindred who has made a sacred vow never to call a bride. After all, before Olivia had been called as a bride she and Sophie had been inseparable. I’m at chapter 15 but I don’t know if I can go any further. The suit nourishes and defends her from enemies and serves as her main weapon in the holy war her people have declared on the rest of the universe. I think gunted was because Baird always knew what he was saying to Liv was provocative and dirty, whereas Sylvan is being serious as a heart attack.
I highly recommend it. She’s only on the Kindred Mothership to participate in her sister Liv’s wedding, and that’s all. Fighting For Their Mate. But her reservations feel like an outright rejection to the already burned Deep.

Also, I realized after reading this one, that the alien terms of endearment talana, lilenta, etcas well as the story in its entirety really, are really reminiscent of Dara Joy and her Matrix of Destiny evanfeline.
When their ship is forced down in the middle of a rugged mountain range, Sophia and Sylvan are stranded. They supposedly are all experienced with sex but they act like they were completely shielded and virginal. Hero Sylvan is the half brother of Baird, the hero of book one.
Moving on to Sylvan. Books three and four, Sought and Foundare coming to evvangeline by the end of It was great watching these evangelline come together along with trying to fight their feelings! As a matter of fact, there was—an extremely big and embarrassing reason as far as Sophie was concerned.

He has fangs, so she’s afraid of pointy things. I feel that is where so many writers go wrong when writing sexy books. Tattooed, muscled, and fierce, they look like felons; but these highly trained agents are humanity’s protectors – andersoj only ones standing between Earth and the threats of the galaxy.
Rather than dialog so the characters sort out their misunderstanding and confusion, we get internal monologues about how scary they find the males. As with the other books this one was hot as hell, these Kindred really know how to work it; these books should come with a clean pair of knickers or at least a warning!
I found Hunted to be more enjoyable than the first book. This is the second installment of this series and I have decided that, so far, I do not like any of the heroines in this series. Oh myand holy dam. Wag More Bark Less Sylvan was more likeable to me than Baird, but I tend to find brooding and emotionally with-drawn bad boys sexy.
What members say Average Customer Ratings Overall. The flow is seamless and allows for better understanding of not only the characters but also situations which are represented. Turns out Vampires, Lycans, and Gargoyles do exist – and they’ve been crossbreeding to form two hybrid races.
Book one, Claimed, is also available in audio. I rarely re-read a book, so evangekine didn’t seem fair for me to give it three stars.

The world Evangeline has created is unique with interesting concepts and the character development was great. Still even more amazing. In exchange for their continued protection, the Kindred had demanded a genetic trade. Anna Hackett Narrated by: One look at the dying human at his doorstep, and Holden Carter knows he will have to break it. Sign me up for one of him, please. You’ll have to listen to Brides of the Kindred book two – Hunted to find out.
I just want everything to be a mixture—the perfect blend of Earth and Kindred traditions. After a devastating rejection on his home planet, his heart is a block of ice no one can melt—or so he thinks until he meets Sophia.
Twin Kindred – muscular and rugged, these warriors from Twin Moons always come in pairs and cannot be separated.
