The connecting speaker wire for the non-powered unit could have been longer. An internal peak limiter and overload protection circuit prevent overloads and distortion.

They suffice as audio monitors for my PC. This is what they were designed to do and if you don’t need a lot of power, they produce a clean and honest sound.

The high-end is weak. There is one 35 W amp in one speaker and it powers them both. An internal amplifier provides 35W per channel for powerful performance. Unfortunately the sound is very bad. I’m disappointed because the specifications imply that they are 35 W per side, but they are not. The other issue is c2pps there is a distinct high pitch whine when the RCA is connected to my computer even with the computer off and V plug disconnected Its likely picking up some enviromental AC current as an antenna but I am not sure hbl its a design issue with the built in amp.
I interpreted the specs to be 35 watts a side, which would have been more than enough power for my needs.
