If I write a page and a half about there being an apple on a table, that mental image doesn’t necessarily get any clearer than it was syrts that one sentence. Even the chronology is puzzling: Refresh and try again.

Quotes from The Opposing Shore. About halfway through the book I could see where everything was going, and I had to keep reading to see how it would get there and the end felt jjulien right and inevitable, and as another character tells Aldo in the last chapter some things has to happen sgrtes the characters involved could be anyone, their identities and motivations aren’t important.
