Couldn’t care less about the last battle in the daa. I have loved this series, but like a lot of books, this author will never end the story.
It’s an interesting idea, one that merges history and fantasy creating an almost dream like feel within the writing, though it never delivers what it promises. Or perhaps the mythic elements were cheapened because of the omnipresence of a flamboyant Mary-Sue?

Scenes with Geralt are few and far between. And he also manages to ruin Dandelion in this book. The chapters involving the elves at another dimension were done rather badly. Prior to reading the first book in this series I was very, very convinced that these books would end up being among the best in the worst genre to pick books from.
The beginning of this book dragged on forever. Vilgerfortz ends up being comically generic and insane to the point you wonder how anyone ever trusted him which is a shame since his setup at Thanedd was pretty great. It will be the best EVER! There were also some very confusing, short lived moments in the book that felt either rushed, or perhaps I didn’t understand them or perhaps I wasn’t meant to understand. While I had problems with the repeated uses of rape as a plot device in prior books, in those at least those instances were kind of in line with the other wanton cruelty and evil described in the book and helped make a point, sort of.
Blood of elves will always have a place in my heart. Seeing the end of this book with a line about another book was disheartening to me. Unfortunately, that’s the peak of the book. We come to the dwma of the Witcher sspkowski, and I say thank Belzebub for that. The theme was just beaten to death in this novel.
An interesting world, painted with vivid imagery without clunky paragraphs of overwhelming description, realism within fantasy, a lot of philosophy, of humor, of adventure, all presented with mind of the culture and the plotline that serves as a nice, neat framework for all that.
The idea that the truths of ancient history and mythology can be unearthed by exploring them in the dreams of a talented sleeper is rather enchanting. I just wish the books would have progressed in the same vein that they started.
Sounds like there were a lot of people at this wedding that were not alive, so where exactly did he and Yennefer end up? After so much deliberate and slow setup over the previous books this one felt like a fast forwarded wrap up once Geralt gets a Deus Ex Happening to find a place on a Witcher’s mission where he can eavesdrop on andrzrj who talk as if they are explaining things to someone eavesdropping to find Vilgefortz’s hideout, and once Ciri got to the castle.
The last of book the Witcher saga and thanks God for that.

Sadly, Sapkowski attempts to bring too many new things on the table. Pero, por encima de todo, me ha encantado su manera de describir los combates.
I generally lato enjoy when the story begins from the time in the future. At this point of time I neither have the lagl nor the interest to say much about this book or the Saga overall. I must say I sapkowskk dissapointed given how much I enjoyed the story books. I finally decided to just put it down instead of slogging through the rest. So they opened their big mouths and out came talk. Was it necessary to reduce wonderful, ,a, proud and charismatic characters to fools beneath her?
A tangled mess of characters and plot I really enjoyed the first three books but started struggling with the fourth book and literally wanted to take the 5th book and toss it in the fireplace and ask for my money back. This is the final book in the saga and it deals with Ciri finding herself in another dimension, trying to get back to where she belongs. Point of view switches non-stop.
Emhyr has murdered countless individuals and spkowski plunged a continent into war and more in order to obtain Ciri, so the site of tears changing his mind is mind-bogglingly unbelievable. The way that he learns of Vilgefortz’s location is pretty convenient and just serves to push the plot forward out of the mire. This story has become so wretched that I don’t want a continuation.
