The book, first printed ingives a crash course on how to better deliver your show, engage spectators and give a lasting impression. No trivia or quizzes yet. This book is about stagecraft, not street fo although many of the principles will work just as well for the casual performer.
The tricks are pretty confusing and don’t really make sense but the theory is just right. This book will teach you how to outline, how to write a believable character, how to get the audience to work with you, how to build to a climax, how to foreshadow later action, how to answer the audience’s questions before they ask them, and generallly how to entertain.
Become a professional entertainer. This is great if you want to be a magician, because it is a straight up handbook. Of particular interest is a chapter on body language, posture, positioning mqgic movement. A reading for the magician interested in the historical aspect of presentation.
