Throughout the book he presents a series of propositions which, when compiled, provide an excellent overview of all the book’s principles. My only complaint is that it took pages to get to these five beautiful pages before quickly reverting back to making sure that no one accidentally sees anything but the dispensation of the church in the Book of Revelation.

This is one of the more encouraging commentaries on the Book of Revelation that I have read. Dr Hendriksen gives a us thorougher explanation of the Book of Revelation, hendriksdn his spiritual application of its theology is most refreshing.

I found it very helpful and I would recommend it to others. The beauty of this book is that it views the book of Rev There are 2 types of commentary: The analysis of the book wullian full of important historical detail as well as biblical exegesis. The beauty of this book is that it views the book of Revelation as one of the book of the Scriptures as a whole. Will the church be successful in discipling the nations or not? What I love about Hendriksen’s interpretation is that he uses scripture to interpret scripture.

Celebrating its 75th anniversary, More Than Conquerors: The numerical symbolism is probably more right than wrong. No trivia or quizzes yet. I found More Than Conquerors both boring and tedious. I think we need this kind of books more today than ever before.

Although not completely exhaustive of the text, Hendrickson provides the reader with the tools to further his or her reading and understanding of a such a fascinating book. Hendriksen adopted very definite and sane principles of interpretation and clearly and consistently applied them throughout.

Jun 10, Angela Platt rated it it was amazing Shelves: I was immediately struck with the notion that I was witnessing two extremes; the Dispensationalists on one hand finding black helicopters and nuclear bombs in the book of Revelation, and on the other hand finding this well-respected A-Mil saying that NOTHING is truly representative of past or future events. More Than Conquerors

In a book as magnificent as Revelation, written by the master story-teller, we should expect many different layers! If someone can’t articulate the Amillennial position in a more compelling manner than “More Than Conquerors” I fear I will surely and quickly find myself in the Ken ,ais and Gary DeMar post-mil, partial-preterist camp to stay.

Find a copy in the library Finding libraries that hold this item I would recommend adding to this volume the works of GK Beale, Richard Bauckham, Dennis Johnson and, though I’m unsure whether he’s written a book on it, Arturo Azurdia’s online exposition of Revelation is well worth the time it takes to listen.

This book is quite technical, so perhaps not for the beginne A brilliant, in-depth analysis of the book of Revelation. I enjoyed it, but I’m just beginning my study of the subject.
